Conference Abstracts | Speaker Bios

Join industry professionals to learn about the Value of Information, a fundamental element of decision analysis. It is calculated as the difference in economic value between the best courses of action with and without the information. Therefore, the value of information that cannot impact a decision is zero. We should not invest more to acquire data than the value of the information it provides.

This conference explores how value of information calculations, decision analysis, and the intelligent acquisition of data are all improved by the discipline of probability management.

Cancellations received by April 10, 2020 will receive a full refund. No refunds will be given after Friday April 10, 2020. Cancellations must be made in writing to Melissa Kirmse. Substitutions are welcome in lieu of cancellations.

There will be a Technology Partner Reception at the conference location on Tuesday, April 21 from 5:15 - 6:30 PM. Beer, wine, and light snacks will be served.

Networking Dinner

A networking dinner will be held after the Technology Partner Reception on Tuesday, April 21 at 6:30 PM at the Old Spaghetti Factory, a short walk from the conference location. The dinner is open to all conference attendees including speakers for an additional fee. Space is limited so reserve your spot early.
